What Is Roblox MDL No. 3166 and What Is Dolman Law Group’s Role?

MDL No. 3166 gathers the federal Roblox child exploitation lawsuits before one judge for pretrial proceedings. The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation created it on December 12, 2025, and assigned it to Chief Judge Richard Seeborg in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The master case number is 3:25-md-03166.

The lawsuits allege that Roblox marketed its platform as safe for children while allowing adults to pose as peers, contact minors, and move them to other apps. Many also name Discord, Snap Inc. or Meta Platforms as defendants. Roblox denies the allegations.

Dolman Law Group filed its first Roblox complaint in July 2025, about five months before the MDL was formed. In February 2026, the court named Dolman attorney Michael A. Baudinet to the plaintiffs' executive committee as development counsel.
